Documenting a relative Part2

To follow up my last post here more images of my great-uncle, i wanted to take close up
images of his hands, i believe that if you have a visual impairment you hands is one way to
feel and distinguish objects, or textures and so on.. I also had the idea in mind that because
i want to document visual impairment, well it kind of parallels the subject.

Documenting a relative

I started to photograph my great-uncle as part of a project i intend to take in the future.
My idea is to document visual impairment, and blind people. I have made a lot of research
on the subject and find out a many photographers have work around the topic in the past.
I believe it was easier to start photographing a relative because it is quite a sensitive subject to
take images of. The project would consist in taking photographs of people affected by visual impairment, but despite their disability many blind people still find a way to practice activities.
